Description of the Oprah rerun on tonight: "Oprah meets tiny and talented dogs".
Made a perfect random grab from the M&M bowl: red, orange, yellow, blue, green. No duplicates. Thanks for listening.
Soliciting recommendations for a (cheap) electrician in the Manhattan area to do some basic electrical work at my house.
Tools used today: Miter Saw, Powder Actuated Nailer, Belt Sander, Cordless Driver, Chisel, Hammer, Plumb Bob, Chalk line, Level, Vacuum, etc
Hard to have too bad of a day when you start it at Bob's Diner. Working on my basement project for the rest of the day, is the plan.
My miter saw says to "wear appropriate clothing" so I put on one of my dad's shirts.
Siblings & I are using ScanCafe to scan 2k of our parents' best photos. Hours or sorting later, I think we'll need to do the same next year.
I also got a kick-ass miter saw which I plan to put to serious use with the upcoming week at home. Lovely time in Humboldt with the family.
Unwrapped at the Works house this Xmas: 5 Touches, 2 Nanos, 1 iPhone IOU, 2 Wiis. Mostly spouse-to-spouse gifts. Getting my iPhone in March.

Likes when each translation of an owner's manual is separate, so I can throw away the non-English ones. Big owner's manuals intimidate me.
Crème brûlée only uses the yolk, so I scrambled up 18 leftover egg whites. I can hardly stomach it. It's amazing how integral the yolks are.
Making ~ gallon of crème brûlée for the Works' Christmas Eve shindig. Hoping all goes well, otherwise it's Spritz cookies for dessert.
